On bookshelves tomorrow!

How to lose a baseball game

By Kris Medlen

Step 1. Catch a big break that builds momentum for your team (conditional on you getting the next out).

Step 2. Kill that momentum by walking the pitcher to load the bases with two outs.

Step 3. With all confidence and momentum gone, give up back-to-back two-RBI hits to blow open a scoreless game.

The End.

For future reference: see 2nd inning of Braves vs. Giants, Tues. May 26th, 2009.

At least Tech will be hosting a regional this weekend. Go Jackets!
